About Tracey and Provincial Rabbit
Tracey has been developing her eye since she was eight years old. Decades of buying vintage, renovating old homes, and trusting what stops her have led to this: a shop, a tea room, and a place in Moonta that is entirely her own.
Everything at Provincial Rabbit has been chosen, styled, or made by someone who genuinely cares about it. That includes the rabbit on the wall, which Tracey painted herself.
Come For A Cup
The tea room at Provincial Rabbit is where most people begin. A good coffee, a proper tea, something gluten free to go with it, and a space that is in no hurry for you to leave.
Sit in the garden if the day calls for it. Browse when you are ready. There is no pressure and no rush here.
The Garden
Some visits begin in the garden and never quite make it inside. That is fine too. It is a good garden.
Bring a book. Order something warm. Let the afternoon sort itself out.

What a magical place! The girls in my family were privileged to be the first to experience the Provincial Rabbit’s high tea. It was delicious. The service was spectacular. The table was set perfectly with vintage tea cups and saucers, beautiful flowers and music. We felt like we were on a movie set!
We enjoyed special magic tea, gorgeous coffee and sparkling juices. Both sweet and savoury offerings were plentiful and yummy! Tracey even had a special babycino and dessert for my 3 yr.old grandaughter which was an extra special touch. Afterwards we went shopping for treasures! Highly recommend. – Terri McBride

Great spot to enjoy a coffee and check out all the great things they have in the shop! Such friendly service we just stopped for coffee and ended up being there over an hour chatting to one of the employees who were on their day off and still come in for coffee. They were so happy to share travel tips and lots about the history of Moonta. An extra bonus was you can pick the lemons and take them and the grapefruit tree was full of fruit getting ready for the winter months for you to enjoy complimentary !!! Do yourself a favour and visit this little oasis you won’t be sorry. – Angela Newley

Dahlias In The Rain
The weekend gave us a bit of everything. Sunshine, a touch of rain, and enough time to get our hands dirty in the garden. The dahlias have come out. The ranunculus are in the planters. There is something deeply satisfying
